WHAT IS FLYING START?

Flying Start is our best-selling workshop! This 80 hour workshop covers the first SIX WEEKS of all core paper content for University of Auckland pre-med, prior to the semester starting! It is designed to bridge the gap between high school and university content, to best prepare you BEFORE you start university.   

The course will cover the following UoA core papers: 

  • Semester 1: BIOSCI107, CHEM110, POPLHLTH111 
  • Semester 2: MEDSCI142 

This 15 day course is delivered in-person (5 hours per day) and provides you with roughly 20 hours of teaching per paper. 

Dates are attached (semester 2 is TBC but will be in early July post-semester one exams). The venue is a central Auckland location (shared with students post-purchase) close to UoA university campus. 

Classes are intensive and interactive and course content includes important, examinable material allowing students to direct their studies toward these areas once university starts.
