MedView Weekly Revision Programme (2026)

MedView’s Weekly Revision Programme is designed to help you stay on top of your coursework, maximise your GPA, and confidently navigate the competitive pathway into medical school.

Starting from Week 2 of each semester, this structured programme delivers a 100+ hour workshop series, reinforcing weekly lecture content from core pre-med papers — ensuring you stay ahead, not catch up.

Programme Structure

Semester One (Biomed & Health Science)

Core Papers: BIOSCI107, CHEM110, POPLHLTH111*
(*CHEM110 for Biomed students only)

  • 6 hours per week (3 × 2-hour workshops)
  • 3 × Test Workshops (3 hours each)
  • 3 × Exam Workshops (5 hours each)

Semester Two (Biomed & Health Science)

Core Papers: MEDSCI142, CHEM110*
(*CHEM110 for Health Science students only)

  • 4 hours per week (2 × 2-hour workshops)
  • 2 × Test Workshops (3 hours each)
  • 2 × Exam Workshops (5 hours each)

Typical Weekly Schedule (Semester One)

The schedule below reflects the core weekly teaching structure delivered as part of the Weekly Revision programme:

  • Monday (6:00–8:00 pm) — BIOSCI107
  • Tuesday (6:00–8:00 pm) — CHEM110
  • Thursday (6:00–8:00 pm) — POPLHLTH111

Sessions are delivered in-person (Auckland CBD) and online, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

Please note that during public holidays, there may be minor adjustments to the session day. However, all sessions consistently run from 6:00–8:00 pm.

Semester One Test Revision Workshops (Auckland)

As part of the Weekly Revision Programme, we offer dedicated Test & Exam Revision Workshops for each core paper to help consolidate key concepts and maximise your performance.

  • BIOSCI107 — Sunday, 19 April, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm
  • CHEM110 —  Sunday, 26 April, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm
  • POPLHLTH111 — Saturday, 2 May, 10:00 am – 1:30 pm

Semester One Exam Revision Workshops (Auckland)

  • POPLHLTH111 — June 7th, Sunday, 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • CHEM110 —  June 13th, Saturday, 10:00 am – 3:30 pm
  • BIOSCI107 — June 21st, Sunday, 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

These workshops are designed to target high-yield content, clarify challenging topics, and provide focused preparation ahead of your mid-semester tests.

Semester Two (Biomed & Health Science)

Core Papers: MEDSCI142, CHEM110*

  • 4 hours per week (2 × 2-hour workshops)
  • 3 × Test Revision Workshops
  • Exam Revision Workshops — dates TBC

Weekly Revision sessions are generally delivered in the evenings:

  • Monday (6:00–8:00 pm) — MEDSCI142
  • Tuesday (6:00–8:00 pm) — CHEM110

Sessions are delivered in-person (Auckland CBD) and online, providing flexibility to suit your schedule.

Please note that session days may occasionally be adjusted around university tests, public holidays, and other scheduling requirements. Any changes will be communicated to students in advance.

Semester Two Test Revision Workshops (Auckland)

Dedicated Test Revision Workshops will be held ahead of the Semester Two assessments:

  • CHEM110 — Saturday, September 5th | 10:00 am–1:30 pm
  • MEDSCI142 Test 1 — Sunday, September 6th | 10:00 am–1:30 pm
  • MEDSCI142 Test 2 — Saturday, October 17th | 10:00 am–1:30 pm

These workshops provide focused revision of high-yield and examinable content, helping students consolidate key concepts before their university tests.

Semester Two Exam Revision Workshops

Our Semester Two Exam Revision Workshop dates are currently being finalised to align with the University of Auckland examination timetable and tutor availability.
