Zi-yi completed Health Sciences First Year in 2018, scoring A*s in all her papers which she undertook. Since entering Medicine, she has been tutoring HUBS191 and HUBS192 and has also lab demonstrated those papers under the University of Otago.
She is actively involved in the Malaysian Medics International society as well as with the university's Unicrew Volunteers. Zi-yi was School Prefect and House Captain in High School, where she was also a top achiever. She was awarded a Distinction in the International Certificate of Education (ICE), awarded by the University of Cambridge in High School.
In her spare time, Zi-yi enjoys hiking and swimming.
